The PoconoEdit

The story behind The Pocono Edit

Local insight. A marketer’s eye. A genuine love for the place I call home.

Tiffany Letosky, Founder

I’m Tiffany Letosky—a creator, storyteller and longtime Albrightsville local. I moved to the Pocono Mountains from Long Island, New York in 2014 and raised my children here. What began as a new place where I barely knew anyone gradually became home—and the community I now want to help more people discover.

How I first discovered the Poconos

Soon after moving here, I became the local publisher for Macaroni KID, a hyperlocal website helping Pocono families find events, activities and things to do. I built its presence across the website, Facebook and Instagram; shared local recommendations; hosted frequent Facebook Lives; promoted community events; and participated in advertising and influencer campaigns with national brands.

But the most meaningful part was getting to know the people behind our local businesses. I connected with owners throughout the area, visited their businesses, experienced what they offered and created reviews, recommendations and promotional features that introduced them to local families.

Some partnerships involved paid advertising space. Others began as barter collaborations because many small businesses had limited marketing budgets—and social media was only beginning to prove how valuable it could be. Those relationships helped me learn the area, build lasting connections and understand the challenges local business owners face when trying to get noticed.

A career built around people and communication

As my children grew, I returned to the corporate healthcare world and built a career in executive leadership, operations, marketing, communication, training and organizational development. Through every chapter, the same strengths continued to guide my work: storytelling, thoughtful design, social media strategy, clear communication and the ability to connect with people.

The Pocono Edit brings those experiences together—local knowledge, creative strategy and a genuine understanding of what makes people pay attention, feel connected and want to experience something for themselves.

Why now

Why The Pocono Edit—and why now

The Poconos have changed tremendously since my family arrived. The Albrightsville, Blakeslee, Lake Harmony and Jim Thorpe corridor has become a major vacation-rental destination filled with Airbnbs, unique stays, attractions, restaurants and independent businesses.

Yet much of this pocket of the Poconos is still overlooked. Visitors repeatedly turn to local Facebook groups asking the same questions: Where should we eat? What can we do with the kids? Where should we shop? What is actually worth the drive?

There are incredible experiences and hardworking small businesses here that deserve more attention—but many do not have the time, budget or social-media setup to show people what makes them special.

That is where I come in.

What guides the work

Real over polished

Content should look like a good day out, not a commercial. Honest beats glossy every time.

Made for this place

Created here, for the way people actually visit, eat and stay in the Poconos.

Show, don't sell

If the experience is good, the job is simply to let people see it clearly.

Through The Pocono Edit, I help local businesses, attractions, restaurants and stays tell their stories through authentic, social-first content that feels helpful, personal and worth sharing.

My goal is simple: help visitors discover more of the Poconos while helping the people who make this area special receive the recognition they deserve.

From a Poconos local who still believes the best recommendations come from real experiences and genuine connection.

Have a Pocono experience worth sharing?Let’s tell people about it.
